A Must Read for Start Ups

This is a must read for anyone who has started a company and finds governmental regulations or standards barring their way. Just as the author found out, you may have to sue the government to get justice. It is not an impossible task. Why are things that way? There are two elements that preserve unreasonable regulations: lobbying by large corporations who want to suppress competition and governmental inertia. It's that latter that is the most disturbing. You may, in fact, find the rank and file within the governmental agency sympathetic to your cause, but that is different than doing something about it. Fortunately, judges generally do understand these situations and once you get in front of them can dispense justice quickly. In the author's case, though, he had sue twice. Governmental inertia can be a formidable thing. So if you find your way in business blocked by regulation, use this book as your guide, and go seek justice.
