Eprogramy does it again!

Bought this along with Eprogramy's other books (HTML & Java), and I have to say, this is just as excellent as the others. I am slowly becoming well-rounded in programming (albeit still a beginner) thanks to their books. Each lesson is described clearly, with relevant examples. Everything is easy to understand, and now I know a lot of tech jargon. This is for anyone interested in learning PHP, whether you have experience or not. Now I can do my own code for my blogs! I'm having lots of fun, too. Thanks, Eprogramy.

A solid foundation to build on your programming skills.

The great thing about programming is, once you learn one language it would be much easier to learn the other ones. Here is an easy to understand book or guide for PHP programming; before you reach the last page you should have written a basic program. This is a perfect springboard for both who have no experience in any language in programming or for just PHP alone. Just a warning though; you could be spending hours writing programs because Eprogramy has presented the subject in an exciting manner.

Twists of Spiritual Insight

Author Peter Lundell's short stories are told with raw honesty, vivid language, and twists of spiritual insight. Easy to read, but not superficial, these stories challenge and provoke, like parables that hold a deeper meaning.
An integral part of this book is the appendix, "Thoughts and Questions for Personal Reflection and Group Discussion." Readers discover the author's reason for writing each story followed by commentary and related questions that invite reflective thinking. Such as, "We may think that God is against us, when we really suffer from our own thinking and behavior. Amazingly, God lets us go on like this as long as we choose to . . ."

If you want to come home and relax with a good book that is easy to read I recommend Short Stories for the Soul by Peter Lundell. Each story is short, yet very descriptive which pulls you easily into the story. I enjoyed the differences in the stories and found them to be very interesting. They took me on a mini journies.

“Remembering Herbie” is a tribute to a man whose name is synonymous with the sport of hockey. Brooks, who died tragically in an automobile accident in August of 2003, did so much for so many in his 66 years here on this earth, and will dearly be missed. Celebrating Brooks’ life is local author Ross Bernstein, who had actually been working with the hockey legend on writing a series of motivational/self help books at the time of his passing. Wanting to honor the legacy of his friend and mentor, Bernstein decided instead to turn the project into a living memorial. The result is a wonderful new book which not only chronicles the accomplishments and achievements of a man who touched literally millions of lives throughout this world, but also a heartfelt story of an incredible person — as told through the eyes of those who knew him best.
