It is overwhelming. Half the stuff in this book is not on the test. I can not believe no one has brought this up yet. If your preparing for a license exam. Spend the extra money and take a course. This is not appropriate for people preparing for their pnc exam. It is very knowledgable but again way too much

Great book!

So glad I bought this! I was uncertain when I started, not being a fan of the religious overtones and uncertain if the AA twelve steps could actually be converted. But, thankfully, I was wrong. This book gave me such hope and peace, I was amazed! I would recommend this book for anyone with mood disorders, regardless of religious background.

This book made me fall in love with Jesus all over again...

I didn't expect that a book (with a cover like this one) about the condition of our souls would make me chuckle for countless times. This book may contain God-glorifying wisdom but smack dab in the same book is funny stuff that you can't resist. Ps. Judah Smith is just hilarious!

Speaking of comical stuff, the part of the story that involves Pastor Jude is my favorite! Nyahaha... Future readers, watch out! I highly recommend you don't read it in a library. You'll surely be sent out.

I love the author's transparency. He's just so honest and generous to share even his mishaps, which most normal people won't have the audacity to bring into the open.

I've read hundreds of "Christian Books" but there are only a handfull that really stick out and that have remained with me throughout the years. "How's Your Soul?" will forever be one of those books. Judah writes with such enthusiasm and truth that stirs the soul to come alive. His style of writing feels as if you are enjoying a cup of coffee with your most influential mentor speaking directly into your life. You will hear yourself continually say, "That is exactly what I needed to hear." Judah will challenge you. The power & art of his writing will shift your mindset and shape your days. Thank you Judah for pouring your heart out!

Nourishing and Encouraging for Every Soul

I have listened to Judah for a while now and when I had the chance to read his work I was psyched! This book did not disappoint. Looking at the title I was slightly worried that the book would contain information I was familiar with but I was willing to try. It was not boring at any point. I love that Judah writes very much the same way he preaches. He is funny, engaging and powerful. If I tried to share quotes from this book that spoke to me I would be here all day, but here is one of my most favorites because it spoke so much to the season of life I am in.
"Yield your ambitions and dreams and desires to God.That is a safe place and a sane place. Let Him be God. It's His job and He's really god at it." (p.114)
This book will stretch you, encourage you and renew your soul in so many ways. I did not realize how nourishing it was until I was reading it and I was brought to tears more than once. Whatever season of life or stage of growth, this book is for you.

Ghostly Figures contends that this poetics of belatedness, along with the way it is bound to questions of poetic making, is a central, if critically neglected, force in postwar American poetry. Discussing works by Sylvia Plath, Adrienne Rich, Jorie Graham, Susan Howe, and a group of poets responding to the AIDS epidemic, Ann Keniston draws on and critically assesses trauma theory and psychoanalysis, as well as earlier discussions of witness, elegy, lyric trope and figure, postmodernism, allusion, and performance, to define the ghosts that clearly dramatize poetics of belatedness throughout the diverse poetry of post–World War II America.
